Zadorozhnyuk (Zador) George was born in 1937 and painted from childhood, but his parents told him he wouldnt be full of pictures and needed a real specialty. In 1954 he entered the Air Force Academy, then transferred to the Odessa Institute of Marine Fleet, graduating in 1961. He also took painting lessons at the Odessa Art College during this time.
He worked in the Far East and gave all his free time to painting, learning to write sketches. In 1964 he returned to Odessa and headed the interior sector of the aesthetics department at a design institute for about 20 years. He participated in many exhibitions and recieved diplomas and a laureate medal.

He has solo exhibitions and his works are kept in private collections worldwide and in the Odessa Navy Museum. He is a member of the Union of Odessa Marine Artists and most often works on fine-grained canvas pasted on hardboard.
