I remember the joy I felt when a stranger purchased my first painting. At that point, it was less about the cost I received for my effort and creativity, but the excitement of someone else appreciating my perspective so much as to buy it. I want to be able to share my work with as many people as possible while keeping it affordable.
Growing up, I always thought your hobby and your profession should be kept two separate entities. I guess I was just afraid of looking at something that I liked to be a catharsis for me and start to rely on it instead as a means of income and stress. Over time, however, I realised that it’s really the other way around; it’s not really work and stress if you enjoy what you do and I LOVE what I do.
I love the process of mixing colours, getting my hands dirty, starting off from a blank canvas to an array of bursting colours, in fact sometimes I love painting with anything BUT brushes to get myself more involved. I also love seeing it go to loving homes where it gets its proper space and respect and that it can transfer the same energy it did for me to someone new.
I love the concept of art e-commerce portals and giclee prints. It gives me the opportunity to reach out to a global audience at an economical price! My philosophy, at least at this age, is simple: Art should be affordable, available and amazing!
I will update my profile as experiences update my life.
IF you see my work, I would really appreciate your feedback, so please feel free and leave me a comment or suggestion.
