Luo Li Rong: Bridging East and West Through Sculpture

Luo Li Rong was born in 1980 in Hunan, China. She is a celebrated sculptress. Luo graduated with high honors from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in 2005.

She began her studies at the Changsha Academy of Arts at 18. Later, she joined CAFA where she studied ceramics and sculpture. Notably, she contributed to public sculptures for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

Now residing in Europe, her art has gained recognition from international galleries since 2014. Luo Li Rong’s sculptures embody contemporary Chinese culture while reflecting a nuanced understanding of Western artistry.

Influenced by her mentors, she has developed a unique style characterized by delicacy and sensuality. Her work invites viewers to explore beyond surface forms. It connects them with the deeper spirit of her subjects. These moments capture the essence of humanity.
