Marius Markowski

Marius Markowski was born in Poland in 1976 but grew up in a small town in Switzerland. He now lives between Brazil and Switzerland, which gives him a unique perspective on life and art.

From a young age, he loved drawing and oil painting. He started painting on canvas at 17 and was passionately focused on oil painting for several years before discovering digital art.

In 2012, he began digital painting and found a new creative freedom. His digital works look like they were made with real oil or acrylic paint, which is what makes them so special.

“I simply enjoy expressions of feelings, moods, ambience and sensual perceptions.”

This quote from the artist shows his focus on emotion over message. He wants to create vivid visual experiences without political or moral agendas.

His paintings often feature portraits and people, capturing intimate moments. He enjoys experimenting with new styles and approaches, always keeping his work fresh and interesting.

His creations are only available as limited print editions on canvas, and he also does custom commissions. His work has been shown in galleries across Europe.

Markowski creates collages as well, using fashion magazine strips and pieces. This shows his versatile approach to art and his ability to work across different mediums.
