Jose Antonio Garrucho Roncero Painting - Spanish Artist

Janto Garrucho (Jose Antonio Garrucho Roncero) is Self-taught Spanish painter, born in 1964, a scholar of classical realists and contemporary hyperrealists, he wants to show us his painting on this website.

Garrucho’s work is made up of different themes: still life, landscapes and figures. It is in the latter, where understanding painting as a means of expression, he has wanted to reflect his way of seeing life through the compositions he makes.
Janto Garrucho’s realistic painting subtly takes us into a world full of sensations that range from an erotic, sensual but respectful female nude where woman and landscape merge, intermingling their natural beauty or are the main figure in works of great symbolism.
In another vertex of this figurative art we will find his still life, where the artistic stroke of his brush reveals a multifaceted artist, or his new urban aspect where he turns everyday scenes into excellent works of full hyperrealism.

In my creation process there are moments when I have a very clear image of what I want to represent, they are images that come to my mind, and that is what I capture on the canvas. In others, however, I work from a feeling and begin to place shapes and colors and then observe and thus find the story I want to express.

Artistic creation is a mysterious force that grows chaotically beyond the limits of reason, that is why my works navigate moments for a second of reality and at times for the fantasy of the unreal where the characters come to life through my brush.” – Janto Garrucho
