He was born in 1955. He graduated from the art school (painting department) in Cheboksary. Later he graduated from the Moscow MVHPU (former Stroganov), ceramics department.
He is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1983 (DPI section, ceramics).
Participant and winner of many Russian and international exhibitions and festivals.

Russian freelance artist Ilya Viktorovich Ibryaev was born in 1955, in the old city of Nizhni Novgorod. Now the artist lives in Moscow. Ilya Ibryaev finished Art School, painting department. Working in watercolors for me allows my soul to take flight above the stars This all began in my youth. My art teacher noticed my capacities and invited me to the art studio, there I received the first professional elements and techniques in water color which have forever remained in my work.
The next stage was art college where everything intensified and was a more professional type During this time I also comprehended the secrets of oil painting It was at the art Academy where I was trained in ceramics This was by choice and not by accident
A desire to feel actual volume instead of illusory as in painting in decorative ceramics this plastic with a color decor which by roasting in the fire gives unpredictable interesting effects of color combinations and shades in harmony it 39 s similar to water color.
But only this material water color a merging of water and a pigment seen through the white color of paper gives unique cleanliness lightness and ease. This sensation cannot be achieved in any other material so much of it is complex dazzling unpredictable and interesting. That is why I have returned again to water color It is as if you are always in movement in search of opening something new and this process is infinite It forces the artist to always be in a creative current putting before himself all new problems learning the beauty of the world and opening for himself infinite unexplored spaces.
