Bruno Wagner, called YAYASHIN, is a French CG artist working in SF‑dark fantasy. His early passion for ilustration shaped his entire carreer.
“Fascinated by Boris, Siudmak, HR Giger and Brom, his style stays inspired by those great artists.”
He was born in Strasbourg in 1979 and first studied applied arts. New technolgies and the early internet pulled him toward multimedia.
He became a web designer and Flash animator, later an art director, but ilustration always remained his true calling.

YAYASHIN began with oil and acrylic on canvas, then reworked pieces digitally. Today his artwork is fully digital and deeply atmospheric.
He now resumes ilustration with strong fervor, creating book covers and visual concepts for various publications.
“His glowing digital worlds mix tradition, fantasy and a dark poetic sensibility.”
- Influenced by iconic dark‑fantasy masters and early sci‑fi surrealists.
- Transitioned from traditional painting to full digital creation with a unique hybrid style.
- Long profesional background in multimedia, motion design and artistic direction.
