Costa Dvorezky

Costa Dvorezky grew up in Moscow but slipped into painting insted of the doctor path, later moving to Toronto where people didn’t really get his work and that pushed him into a rougher style with those floating figures he does now. His bodies look heavy while the backgrounds go thin or drift off in odd spots, making the person feel caught between something solid and something els, and he leaves drips and mistakes because he wants truth more than polish even as his work shows across Europe and North America.
