Krastyo Todorov was born on 08 June 1959 in the Black Sea town of Burgas, Bulgaria. He graduated from the School of Arts in Kazanluk in 1985 and then the University of Veliko Tarnovo with a degree in “Painting“.

He has been the subject of more than 30 solo exhibitions home and abroad. His paintings can be found in private collections in Bulgaria, Belgium, Germany, France, England, the USA, Turkey. He lives and works in Bourgas.

Ketsa’s works focus on figural paintings, drawings, and lithography. His style is characterized by a specifically grotesque representation of characters and the deliberate deformation of the objects.

Ketza is a sea boy, for him the sea is Nature, it is the Truth, the sea is in him, deep in his heart and in his paintings. The sea is the background of all its compositions in countless colors and meanings. The sea is a sacred place for his dreams and realities for parables, myths, legends.
