I’ve been in the marble business since 1991, as co-founder and president of Mario & Son, a renowned stone fabrication shop in the Pacific Northwest. I am a self-taught sculptor, although my artistic career started at age 10, as a musician. I’ve lectured at several international events for the stone industry, and currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Stone Fabricators Alliance. I have also been on the Board of the Spokane Valley Arts Council.
Attended the University of Nevada on a full music scholarship before starting my stone business.
I have been involved in several art charity auctions, and won the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture Patron’s award in 2013 for my sculpture “Crevasse”.
