IWS USA is a branch of the International Watercolor Society (non-profit).
Although there are many watercolor painting organizations in United States, we are not just adding another organization but to introduce the most creative and sublime watercolor artists in USA to “Larger” audience. IWS USA was launched in mid-2015 with no financial support. By the end of 2016 we will be the most recommended website in USA for watercolor art. The main objective will be complete when these three goals are accomplished:
– The most visited watercolor website, diversely.
– Most unique, selective and followed (watercolor) page in social media.
– Reach five thousands mailing list subscribers.
The IWS USA will be always up-to-date featuring the majority of the top American watercolor artists to the world through the art albums in the best online showcase. The benefits will turn back to the artists through the great international exposure (IWS communities) and the online visits from watercolor paintings fans and collectors. As well, events, contests, workshops, catalogues, prints and exhibitions are great assets in the branch establishment and continuity.
Uplifting the watercolor painting to be among the other top popular medium. Organize a well-respected International Exhibition in USA.

The International Watercolor Society (IWS) is a non-profit organization and was established in January 2012. The IWS was founded by Mr. Atanur Dogan with the aim of exchanging thoughts and ideas relating to the artistic beauty of the watercolor technique. Uplifting standards through discussions, seminars, workshops, and master-classes by inviting IWS members from around the world, as-well-as to showcase the work of all the watercolor artists from every part of the world. Our aim at the IWS is to interact with other watercolor artists and associations worldwide, hold activities to exchange views & ideas to increase the caliber of the medium, and help improve the artist in the art-lovers and finally, arranging publications on different occasions to cooperate with already established watercolor societies across the globe.
