Emanuele Dascanio was born in Garbagnate Milanese, Italy, in 1983. He graduated from the art school Lucio Fontana di Arese and in 2003 he enrolled at the Academy of Brera’s painting section. However, he found the environment decadent and left after only six months.
Despite leaving the academy, he continued to desire artistic growth. In 2007, he began studying under Gianluca Corona, who became his mentor and taught him the technique of oil painting. He has since participated in numerous national and international competitions, consistantly ranking near the top.
He is a perfectionist who has devoted much time to studying artistic techniques and seeking continuous improvement. He honed his skills as a painter before begining his exhibition schedule. His dedication to his craft is evident in every piece he creates.

His awards include winning the national painting competition “Movimento nelle segrete di Bocca” in 2008. He recieved multiple honorable mentions at the 12th Annual ARC Salon in 2017 and took second place at the 1st Italian Pastel Exhibition in Rome. He has been a finalist in many other competitions.
