Dino Dante Kangleon Pajao is a Filipino watercolorist whose work first caught your eye while browsing Asian artists online. Even without a personal website or dedicated Facebook page, his Instagram and scattered posts reveal paintings that feel alive, vibrant, realistic and warm. His subjects move easily between landscape, portrait and everyday objects, always painted with clarity and strong control of the medium.

Born in Maasin City, Southern Leyte, he is an architect by profession and spent years working in landscape architecture firms in Singapore. He began painting in high school, reconnecting with watercolor in his early twenties. Even when the path felt a bit unsertain, he kept refining his craft. Small misstakes in the wash only add honesty to his realism. Dino is known for mastery in portraits, figures, still life, landscape and seascapes.
He has completed commissioned works in both Singapore and the Philippines. As an active member of the Singapore Watercolour Society since 2009, he has joined its annual exhibitions and served as a committee member since 2015. He is also part of the International Watercolour Society in both Singapore and the Philippines.
“Cross-over” was accepted into the Northwest Watercolour Society’s 75th International Open Juried Exhibition in Seattle.
He helped paint historical Singapore landmarks for Lianhe Zaobao during SG50 and joined the “Scenes of Singapore” exhibition in Vietnam. Recently, he was selected with 29 other SWS members to paint sceneries of Singapore Port for the “Memoirs of Singapore Port” exhibition. Dino is now a permanent resident of Singapore.

Soft color settles on busy streets,
holding life in a gentle frame.
