Dino Dante Kangleon Pajao Watercolor Painting
Dino Dante K.Pajao, Architect , SWS, UAP, CWS Dino Dante grabbed my attention when I was browsing through few Asian watercolorists on facebook. Although he does not have neither website, nor facebook page but his artist profile on Instagram and Facebook display unique and outstanding paintings. Dino's watercolor paintings are alive, vibrant, realistic and warm, varies between landscape, portrait and object.
Dino Dante Kangleon Pajao was born in Maasin City, Southern Leyte, Philippines. He is an architect by profession, lived and worked in landscape architecture design firms in Singapore. He is a renowned watercolorist showing mastery in realism, portraits and figures, still life, landscape and seascapes. He started painting in high school and got reconnected with the medium in his early twenties.
He has done commissioned works both in Singapore and Philippines. He is an active member of the Singapore Watercolour Society (SWS) and participated its annual painting exhibitions from year 2009 to present and a committee member of the SWS Year 2015 to present year. He is also a member of International Watercolour Society (IWS) both Singapore and in Philippines.
In 2015, his piece “Cross-over” got accepted into Northwest Watercolour Society’s (NWWS) 75th International Open Juried Exhibition in Seattle, WA USA. He is also one of the SWS to paint historical landmarks of Singapore which were featured in Lianhe Zaobao and exhibited last December 2015 in conjunction with SG50. He has also participated in “Scenes of Singapore” Watercolour Exhibition in Vietnam last November 2015.
This year, he’s been selected along with 29 other members of Singapore Watercolour Society to paint sceneries of Singapore Port. The watercolour paintings form part of the “Memoirs of Singapore Port” Exhibition which runs from 9 to 22 April at The Visual Art Centre 10 Penang Road #01-02 Dhoby Ghaut Green Singapore 238469.
He is a permanent resident in Singapore.
