Daniel Arteta was born in the city of San Carlos, department of Maldonado-Uruguay in 1967.
Since he was a young man, he studied in various disciplines in a self-taught way, finding in watercolor a technique that allows him to freely express himself in his own style.
In 1991 he received support from Prof. Ana Bosso in Color theory and participated in drawing classes of human figure with the sculptor Eusebio Delgado.
Since 1992 he has been professionally dedicated to solo and collective exhibitions in art galleries and public and private institutions.
Awarded in the first Salón C.E.I of Plastic Arts “250 years of the City of Maldonado” obtaining the 1st prize in the category: “Monuments, facades and landscapes of Maldonado and its surroundings”. (Maldonado, October 2005)
Awarded in the painting hall Marítima 15th · edition, Club Naval. (Montevideo, October 2005)
