Passionate photographer, bit of a nerd! OK that’s over with…oh and checking into rehab soon for my cloud addiction!
Work: Currently working for CSIRO – Atlas of Living Australia – online scientific image repository – http://morphbank.ala.org.au/. I teach Photoshop and CS5 for fearless.com.au.
Spent the last 10 years as a government IT contractor
Express photographer (Canberra Times, SMH, Reuters) – moved away from traditional photography when it was coming to an end – digital was taking over (early 90′s). Spent the last 20 years working purely internet, way to much code. Have been teaching CS5 tools for a year now, loving showing people different ways to use Photoshop – Now I’m standing back from my desk and getting out and amongst it all again. Recently purchased 2 semi-pro Nikons – and some nice glass. Looking forward to re-learning digital photography. Involving my kids as much as possible, passing on some skills is also the rewarding part of this passion
Life: Father of 3 kids, married my childhood sweetheart. Born in the UK (Liverpool) traveled extensively in my early 20′s after being raised in Canberra, Australia from an early age – went back in my late 20′s again for 6 years then back to Canberra via Sydney.
